When is Elemental Hit getting nerfed?

I'm asking because flashback starts tomorrow (according to some people) and I really wanted to try out the build. I've heard it from multiple individuals that GGG has stated that they are completely reworking and redesigning Elemental Hit. If anyone can shed some light on this I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance.

I guarantee it will not be affected at all for the race. The soonest we might see a change is next league / season.

If you like playing basically auto attack builds just cause they hit big numbers, feel free too, the rest of us will be playing skills that are actually enjoyable.
