Did i need Resolute Technique with 10% critical chance and 150% multiplier?

the block recovery thing is a misconception,

all it states is that if the attack you blocked would have stunned, the blocking does not stop it.

but you'll notice that block recovery is always a lot higher than stun recovery. thus if you were to be stunned while blocking, you can recover faster if you didnt block the attack.
