Latency

I was playing my latest character and whilst I was using one of my skills - Infernal Blow - I realised that I could exploit the latency correction if done correctly.

What I did was to choose to attack an enemy that was among a group of others, then before I performed the skill I would cancel it by walking away. So before the server realises I've 'changed my mind' the skill has already been used, which I thought was quite funny.

I made a quick video of it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKKZdPso2Fs) and I'm pretty sure 3/4 worked the way I explained.

Latency is 200~ms, by the way.

Another time where I've noticed latency affecting gameplay is with my current Witch; I use Fireball on the furthest target in a group, and if there was a direct path to the target when I cast but another target intercepts the skill whilst it travels, the initial clicked enemy can still get hit even though the skill doesn't get to him.

I may make a video showing this if I can be bothered :P
