Temple Nexus only upgrades connected room

Description: The Temple of Atzoatl room "Temple Nexus" only upgrades the rooms it has an open connection to while the description of the room states "Improves adjacent rooms by one tier".

Steps to reproduce:
1. Complete Alva Incursions in which you upgrade the Empowering Room to Tier 3.
2. Do not open any hallways to the nearby rooms.
3. Complete enough incursions to access the actual temple.
4. Reach any of the rooms adjacent to the Temple Nexus.

Results:
The tiers of the rooms remain unchanged.

Expected results:
The tiers of the rooms increase by one OR the description of the room "Temple Nexus" states that it only improves "connected" room as opposed to "adjacent".

Not only that.
Today I have found out, that when you have Tier 2 Hall of offerings, it does not change the room to its proper function.
I normally always use Belts (for headhunter) And got a damn Shiversting. The Tier 3 room however normally always gives you an item for the belt slot. (If you use a belt for the ritual)
