GDPR Updates to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

You've probably noticed that every service you've ever signed up for has recently updated their Privacy Policy and other legal documents relating to privacy and data protection. This is because the new European privacy regulations called GDPR come into effect today. In layman's terms, the GDPR requires companies to store as little data as possible, have a good legal basis for all data they store, store the data securely, and not share it with anyone unless it's strictly required. We have also updated our legal documents to make it clearer what personal data we store and why. You'll be prompted to read and agree to the new documents when you access the website or log in to Path of Exile.

- as stated in "privacy policy 2.b.vi"

That one refers to browsing of the PoE website. We store logs of access attempts to the website so that we can investigate problems, block denial of service attacks, etc.
