Thanks, fixed.
Don't blame Tencent, blame the Chinese government. If they didn't have Tencent do it they would just use another company anyway.
Why not blaming both? Tell me a reason, a legit and well sustained reason as to why not both.

I do appreciate that you have disclosed your circumstances which can help people identify biases and evaluate. That is so rare in game forum... often you see the opposite like "it's so obvious" and "it's just common sense" that somebody's opinion is right, according to that person.

Thanks I also just realized that this is silly.
My thread reads as a intent to boycott this game, a game that I consider to be the best ARPG.

When I should focus my efforts against the root of the issue which is Tencent.

Your money already goes to greedy bastards in suits. There's no avoiding it. This whole outrage surprises me. We live in a time when money is worshiped as the supreme God of existence.

Why so damn shocked people?

Again, another comment with "futility" as its core message. If you just want to live bent over and thinking about the futility of social resistance, that is up to you.

Oh, you're one of those "I can change the world" hippies. Good luck bro, I honestly wish you all the luck. My realism makes me live a different life.

Why, but of course I did.
I do not want this post to be personally identifiable besides the info I provided within it. I do not want my Steam account to be attached to this.
Half of my family lives in China and I have become very cautious about posting in the internet because of that.

Read those, now one could think of Tencent as if the NSA were a corporate entity( they have a strong involvement in politics that's the reason of the comparison) or as Facebook maybe, just a bit more draconian...

Now, every time you buy a "supporter" pack or other kind of microtransaction, a part of your money will go into this dystopian corporation. You might end up indirectly supporting the social control and total surveillance of hundreds of millions of people who sometimes get driven into madness with the infamous Social Credit Score program.

Read about it here http://www.businessinsider.com/china-tencent-and-alibabas-new-credit-scoring-solution-2018-2

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Credit_System

The program is still in prototype stage and the pressure that puts into the working class is already a health hazard.
