Now, every time you buy a "supporter" pack or other kind of microtransaction, a part of your money will go into this dystopian corporation. You might end up indirectly supporting the social control and total surveillance of hundreds of millions of people who sometimes get driven into madness with the infamous Social Credit Score program. Disclaimer: I am half Chinese, but I live in the EU. Therefore I can be considered biased in what I wrote. Edit: Ok I admit this is silly, since my post reads as an intent to boycott PoE, a game I love. When my focus should be against the root of the issues which is Tencent and the Government. This "Social Credit" thing is pretty Orwellian. Scary stuff. Better not say so though, you might get a lower score.
