General Discussion - It's time to do the right thing GGG - Forum

" We retain full control of Path of Exile and will only make changes that we feel are best for the game. Make POE truely free to play. Tencent will have their own Chhina version for money makings. None of the profits benefit GGG. It is undeniable that getting the game for free is better than paying for the game. Money limits the number of people that will play the game. Quality of life and enjoyment of POE goes through the roof when monetary restrictions are obsolete. The satisfaction of money requirements means content should never be rushed again. That money will quickly dry up the minute GGG sees their sales fall past a certain point, whereby everybody loses. The agreement was for 80% of the profits after expenses, not 80% of total income, so if GGG gets no income, Tencent pulls the plug and turns PoE into a completely p2w chinese clone.
