There is a difference between investing, and buying out

When you invest in a company, you want to enjoy the profit.
When you buy 80% of the shares, you want to dominate and dictate policy.

From now on, it is only a matter of time.

Yea this is the dumbest, dirtiest move GGG ever made. They WILL be dominated, I have never known a case where it didn't happen. This game is fucked. Not throwing another dime at GGG.
I don't think it's a dirty move from GGG's side. we don't know the circumstances or the offers that were placed on the table.
But it IS a statement by Tencent.

Chris is saying they are still in charge. it doesn't work like that when another company owns you.

Is the number 80 bigger than 20?

LOL! You have never known a case where a game company is majorly owned by another company and has become even more successful?

80% chinese Tencent owned. They will dominate GGG. Even if they do become more successfull, it will still be Tencent dominated per definition. And even if it IS more successfull, which I doubt it will be, I'll never throw money towards China. China is a danger to the world and it's own citizens.

Cool story, I don't give a shit who owns what. The discussion is about the game's success, not what views you have about the world.

Here's my reliable source on why China is good for the world.

Chris needed a new fishing boat obviously.

We all would have taken a mega deal.

Don’t lie.

I do care who owns what tho. And I hope I'm not the only one.

Putting a value on citizens and classifying them via an app made by Tencent.
