Are some items not corruptible? (Can't corrupt doedre's malevolence)

Like the title says - I'm not on my 4th ( f o u r t h ) Doedre's Malevolence that's turned into a worthless rare, and doing a search on POE trade yields not a single one corrupted. Is it actually possible to corrupt this item?
