You can definately skip out the Templar area in favour of much more healt in total.
Thats the one part to cut/take last

Im not quite sure whats the best 6l combo yet, but 4l is for sure..

1. Cyclone
2. Melee physical
3. Withering touch support
4. Added chaos

Right now im doing

5/6 Vile toxin + Void manipulation support

Gear:

Wasp nest is just that good with decent phys damage, very fast attack speed and 100 chaos damage.

This may be the most underestimated not "best" just underestimated shield in the game.
We are not block focused, so having Purity of fire, Purity of lightning and Purity of cold at the same time with 0 mana cost seems cool to me.

Fill in with rare items with as much health as possible and what ever resist you need.
Try to get abit phys damage and attack speed here and there.
If you can craft chaos damage on rings and neck do it.


Good damage belt as elemental damage is useless and defensive thanks to reduced crit damage taken

Recomended flasks:

Eternal Life Flask - full quality and remove bleed

Atziri's Promise Amethyst Flask - Chaos res is needed at times + More chaos damage + leech

Coralito's Signature Diamond Flask - Simply good boss damage

Random flask of your choise with curse immunity


Well if you happen to have it why not right:

Lion's Roar Granite Flask - More phys/more chaos, but only for late bossing which wont move the fuck over the room when you nuke

This guy alone is worth 100% Poison on hit, he is doing like 75 Phys times 40 !!

Tho he is expensive as you add damage gems to him, so im not going crazy on him I added...

Herald of agony + Culling strike + Rarity!!! because why not, he is killing all high hp monsters and the rarity gem adds zero mana cost :)



Cast when damage taken: Immortal call + Phaze run + Increase duration



Now this is the best part, we are doing so much damage that we dont need more, T15 bosses are dying like flyes already...
Because of that...

Balp + Enfeber, remember that we already got permanent fortify
Despair is for Guardian HP only.



Vaal Ancestral Warchief
This badboy is quite cool, you will have 2 charges for boss fights, and the totem is leaping around like a monkey so you cant fail with the placing how hard you want to :P


Whirlingblades + Faster attack + Blood magic

Not bad, but could use some work. Obviously adding gear links with pics, probly a pastebin for PoB, videos, and whatever other gear you were using (with what stats you prioritized). Not sure on some of your skill tree choices either, are you going physical with added DoT's? Block and evade?

At Finess (right side of tree), why go left 4 nodes instead of hitting Precise interception on the right for more block and phys dmg? I see for the extra life, but you can get that elsewhere.

The idea is to block all attacks and spells, so you with comfort can stack your poison stacks.
Got 6k health atm, thats good enough to take a hit from almost everything and heal up before next block fails.

Think its frustrating how our accounts aint linked to the site idd.
I am using precise interception, missed that one out.
Im just showing the idea, its very flexible depending if you like more offence or defence.

Attack speed
Ailment duration
Life
Block
Thats all you need pretty much, the gladiators block is so got damn strong that your claw will keep you alive and you can experiement with whatever gear you like. 🙂

Just a few tweaks to it, and added some jewel sockets. Sets you up for a level 87 build, close enough to choose quite a few options also. On the top right jewel spot, I choose to go the INT route. Since you are using claws, you may need a bit more INT Vs DEX with early claws. Removed your evade / life nodes and went further left for armor / life nodes. I feel this should help you more. Also picked up some more life regen.

For the most part it looked pretty solid, tree wise.

Would going for "Born to Fight" through "Heart of the Warrior" be a reasonable alternative to the four points to get "Constitution" or is it more about having 5% Life nodes available if you get more points?

Anyone got some advice on shields for this build - speaking as someone who has never used one in POE. I am thinking Block Chance, Max Life, and resists & attributes to taste as a starter. Armour vs Evasion? Any available (think chaos, not exalts) uniques that might help.

Duration is multiplayer, 40% more stacks is 40% more tick damage after reaching the limit.

That would absolutely be another alternative. You are only gaining 1% more life going this way and are further away from future life upgrades though.
