Complicated trade system makes this game frustrating for beginners

The major problem I think is buying maps to be able to fill out their atlas. One thought is to let Zana sell all the maps up to Tier 9. But it is locked behind her level. so level 1 sells tier 2 level 2 selling tier 3 etc. The problem is that when zana is level 8 you can buy 1000 tier 9 and do the 3-1 recipe.
so 1000 tier 9 maps will be 333 tier 11 maps.
333 tier 11 maps will be 111 tier 12 maps.
111 tier 12 becomes 37 tier 13 maps.
37 tier 13 becomes 12 tier 14 maps.
12 tier 14 becomes 4 tier 15 maps.
Lets say zana sells 1 tier 9 map for 1 alc. So in bestiary 2 alc is 1c so that is 500c for 4 tier 15 maps and that is a massive currency sink. ez game
sorry my mistake. that is 500c for 4 tier 14 maps or 500c for 1 tier 15.

tl;dr - We need a market so beginners can get introduced to trading. There isn't any help or guidelines for them, and people don't want to be distrubed while Beast League is active which makes trading even harder.

You are fundamentally misunderstanding the goals GGG have with trade: it is absolutely supposed to be an investment of time, effort, and pain. Trade allows people to bypass the normal mechanism of growth in the game, which is that you get a lot of useless drops, with the occasional upgrade, and that is useful and helps you grow.

Making trade easier, as GGG have regularly said, eliminates that. The consequence is that people buy their best in slot gear, get bored because there are no longer any rewards, and quit the game.

So, trade will remain difficult not because GGG can't make it better, but because they don't want to make it better.
