[3.3] CI Wandcultist - League starter - Fast mapper - Guardians on a 5L - Shaper down

What boot enchants would you suggest Bristoling? I have flat lightning now, which is good for dps actually, and I need to roll the dice on my helm as well.

Also, as a relative newbie to Poe (950 hours) and a first time witch/ES player, there have been a lot of welcomed surprises. Like not knowing how good (upgraded) Arakaali pantheon interacts with Blood Rage until I tried it; just wow.

When I’ve finished with 36/40, I think I’ll write up some notes to help out total newbies that want to try the build out, but are too intimidated/afraid. I definitely learned a lot by forcing myself to level to maps.

Sure, that would be awesome if you ever wanted to do that :)

I'm using 10% movement speed when not hit recently, which is great for mapping. Penetration is very rare but best against Shaper/Atziri type of bosses where there's no adds.
Flat lightning is also really strong for both mapping and bossing where adds are involved (like most Guardians).

What do you think about going LL instead of CI for this?

Is this build HC viable? I just died with Frostbolt totem on 89 level and I am looking for another build with better end game content and good defense.

I am not sure about ES these days if its viable but maybe its. Chaos resist in Incursion can be rly fine. Thanks for anwer.

Going LL means more expensive chest, less ES, less dps, but you do get to use your Herald mtx effects. It's not a massive difference but is say 5-10% less dps and ES. But, you can use those ES boots for mf.

It is HC viable but only if you go deathless during levelling and you've got enough currency to gear it up nicely once you hit the maps and can spend currency for levelling uniwues. Levelling of this build is notoriously hard and dangerous since we go hybrid and don't have much in ways of sustain. Going HC hybrid levelling I'd also skip Incursions since our chaos res and life pool is relatively low.
Maybe if you level in a completely different way and respec later on...

I'll be honest, I'm not a HC player myself, I die during levelling like 5 times just on A8 doedre lol. But, as far as I can tell there are 2 people who look like they are following this build and they are level 80++ in HC. I think I'd be best if you asked them for their experience on HC with this build:

Bristoling: Thanks, i did first 32 levels kinda easy so i will check if there will be problem later. Incursion doesnt make sence on begin at all.

I don't think so, since we get quite a bit of penetration on both gear, tree and gems. It also has quite short duration time so I wouldn't rely on it for bossing even if built around. For dps, either Vaal Haste or Vaal Lightning Trap will be the best :>

If you have any problems later on, ask away. Leveling of this build is the toughest part :) It really picks up around level 70 once you get CoA + Thunderfists.

Hey, yeah i do have sexy herald effects so kinda want to use them :P


Btw with low life, we take pain attunement. So gives us +30% more spell damage. But if i use crown of eyes with that, i'll get those MORE spell damage into attack damages right? i still loose 10% from the full life, but still works right?
