Definitely a solid pick, if you can find resists elsewhere. I always look at items through their opportunity cost - sure, up to 40% increased damage is great, but if picking those boots prevents you from upgrading your amulet or rings, then it becomes problematic.
I find it easier to get a lot of resists on pieces like shield or boots, and then getting damage on jewelry, but doing it the other way around isn't really a bad choice either.

In other words - if you already have great resists on the rest of the gear and you don't need that much on your boots anyway, go for it. If your resists are only slightly overcapped, maybe it's better to take higher resists boots, which will allow you to get a better ring or amulet etc.

Considering your ES - it's really a bunch of small things adding up. For example your CoE is quite low rolled, ones that have over 200 ES can still be bought for 1 chaos: http://poe.trade/search/hahanukikonora
200 ES CoE would be another 60 ES for you.

You could craft ES on one of your rings, so another 70 ES or so.

Getting boots to 20% quality would be another 35 ES.

Average rolled Incandesent Heart (or rather a body with around 320 ES) would give you almost 600 ES. A 450 ES chest would give you almost 1k more ES. It's definately something to work towards for, I remember first few days of the league corrupted 6 links were around 5-7 chaos, they must have gone up in price since. But, carry on playing and you will get there financially :)
You can still get another 165 total ES easily without changing your chest, and more once you do. Upgrading your shield is also an option.

Well damage on full life gems works even if you dont go CI, just keep the 2kish life as a buffer vs chaos dmg and get some chaos resistances?

CI node used to be really good when it had more ES and blood rage did chaos damage, now I jsut cant justify remocing 2k life only to be immune to chaos dmg

Well, if you want to make it a hybrid (life+es), then you need to find a way to replenish both those hp pools at the same time. So you'd probably have to carry a life flask around, and be paranoid about your life pool ;D Getting chaos resistance isn't that easy since it can only roll up to 30-something, compared to normal resistance rolls that go up to 48%. Not to mention you'd need more suffixes to sacrifice for it.

Don't think so, since Ghost Reaver halves the recharge, so it would be still quite slow plus it could only get down the recharge cooldown from 2 to 1.74 seconds. Recharge is great for out of combat/emergency regen, but doesn't work in close combat (where you kind of want to be, especially when you take Point Blank).

Hi. First off, thank you for the build.

I'm currently lvl 39, following the leveling guide to a T.

Having a lot of fun. I tried switching Power Siphon for KB and I feel like it feels worse (at my current stage in the game).

I don't see groups being blown up like some of the other Wander vids. I guess I need the final lab for that.

I wanted to know if you have considered Elemental Hit to replace KB. Would it be better? I am a noob when it comes to PoB.

Don't expect that under level 40 :D Herald of Ice explosions make it look like a lot more impressive then Chaos ones, but general mechanic is very similar and you do one shot packs once your gear up a bit :>

Yeah I guess visually, it looks more impressive (and I love the sound of shatters) but I'll stick to KB then. I'm not experienced enough to make changes to the build for Elemental Hit.

Theoretically, we could run Wrath, Discipline and Herald of Ice for shatters.

You can do this by taking Charisma and 4% mana reduction by Influence. Possibly Enlighten lvl 2-3 somewhere. And at least one jewel with high flat cold, or just some added cold damage on gear.

I've just tested it in a t10 map and it does proc Herald of Ice shatters semi-reliably (like 40% of the time) - my only source of cold damage was lvl 19 HoI. So the option is there if you really want to shatter stuff :)

One question, why do you pick Vaal Pact? Unless they reversed some changes, it doesn't work with Ghost Reaver since v3.0:
