Returning player with questions.

Hey all! I've been gone for a few months now (Missed two leagues I believe) But I'm returning for the new league coming out! Is there any addons (Or anything at all) I should download or setup before the new league starts? What are some things I can do to prepare?

I let you browse the list and see if something catch your attention :) https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/wiki/tools Note: I don't know if this list is up to date - About what you can do to prepare, well as usual the most important part is to browse recent news announcing new content and changes. After patch and other informations are revealed later on this week you will eventualy want to theorycraft your starting build, or finding one from forum / specialized indexers / youtube etc ... Except that you can start to think about what items you will need along your progression, this will make it easier to search your items using poe.trade or pathofexile.com/trade later on and saving you a lot of time. Last and not the least important part, you will need a good pizza and a fresh beer :) ( Do not ever put pineapples on pizzas ! There are no addons other than a loot filer.
And you NEED a loot filter. You can make your own. I do, but perhaps not best for a beginer. I use the program Filtration to make mine. https://github.com/ben-wallis/Filtration Or you can download one of MANY pre made loot filters that are available. I recommend Neversink's loot filer.
