SSF & threshold jewels

Hi all,

I was wondering how to acquire a second threshold jewel in SSF. For example a second First Snow, or a second Frozen Trail. You can't buy or trade them, so you just have to wait for it to drop? Or vaal viridian jewels and hope for the best? What's the best method?

Level a second character. If you skip everything optional and in general just speed run trough it, it takes an hour or two.
