Technical Support - Constant 200 ping to Australia from NZ - Forum

Same, figured 200 stable is better than spikes... started playing and it suddenly spiked non stop... lost all the xp I got this week. I'm in Auckland and the California server is showing a better ping than Auz (180 - 190). They're busy with next league roll out. Unlikely this will get sorted soon, which is a bummer, I'm still playing Abyss. I will write something here when I can think of something clever and amusing. It would help GGG if affected players could post a WinMTR log (here's a guide) so that the problem can be localised. Is everyone affected living in New Zealand and connecting to Australia? Having the same issue and in my case it appears the ping spike is in the first jump to the network layer. https://pastebin.com/jmyudirU I was running on under 60 ping constantly until yesterday. You could e-mail techsupport@grindinggear.com to show them the log and see whether SoftLayer are aware of a potential peering issue with Vodafone.
