I would’ve either sent an e-mail to support@grindinggear.com or looked at the Bug Reports section, found an employee who posts there, and sent them a PM. I agree with Noblemenky42000 - publicly disclosing an exploit with reproducible steps may have been done with the best of intentions, but is... not ideal. No reason to accuse them of having ulterior motives for pointing that out.
