Chops Flicker Ranger ... DPS Project.

Inspired by Flaw_ 's build, i built this thing!. Was about the only thing i put much effort into other than my HC Templar. It was/is really fun to play. here she is!





Flicker with no buffs:



Flicker with 7 frenzy charges.



Flicker + Phase run + Crit flask (pvp in mind no frenzy buffs) is a 100k+ dmg hit.

I ran out of time, but got it higher than i thought i would. could still use a few upgrades if i had more time to play and let the community find them, but i am out of time =(.

will post gear from tardrapier in a following post.

chest is 6l with flicker / faster attack / melee dmg / added fire / weapon elemental dmg / crit damage.

crit damage was 0% cause im jewish with gcp, faster attack was only 9% , and fire / weapon ele only 9%. could gain more dps but selling all the gcp for mass roll tomorrow.

weapon is beast, but could be better with sheath knife and +dmg.

rings are solid but could have weapon ele and str.

neck lacks all attr and +phys

gloves are 100% bis to good to be in the game.

boots are awesome and undervalued atm.

belt is pretty much as good as it gets dps wise.

and shield i dont think can get any dps mod for her other than dex.

it was very fun, and it surprised me alot as well as other people.

it can do chaos in her 500 evasion hat and 1500 shield, only loses a little dps (5k i think) 107 to 102k and 7500 armor (Iron Reflexes is some good). would build more tanky gear if i planed on playing alot of chaos.

as far as pvp goes, you would gain all the frenzy node points to tank out and get more front loaded damage. i didnt try this build but feel it would be very good in a pvp setting.

anyways, lots to do but wanted to share ... off to more prep for roll~

You can't add more dps by dual wielding daggers instead? Or did you need the block to survive in chaos?

How can this build be balanced in PvP?
I read somewhere there was something like 80% damage reduction, but even with that, 100k damage on auto-target skill (Flicker) seems OP ^^;

it alternates attacks b/n the 2 and didnt outweigh the 1500 armor + block imo. could be wrong tho.

FS is my favorite skill atm, and i strictly love it even if Chaos seem's very hard with it (I died once in 59 level, and died 4 times in less than 10 minutes in trying it !)... but im really really far from having your insane dps, I reach 6006 dps without frenzy charges, lol.

Watched this character in action, basically mowed screen of mobs by time my curse had been set :p

You should post your passive skill tree. Also if you could make a video that would be awesome. I'd love to see this build in action.
