Disconnects - Game Unplayable

I'm sure there have been other threads on this matter but I simply haven't found a solution yet.

I'm getting disconnects every 5 minutes or so. There is no pattern, sometimes it takes a long time, sometimes it happens 2 minutes after the last one. It's not only during loading screens, it can happen anywhere, anytime. I'm thrown back to Login screen and my character is teleported back to city, which basically makes the game unplayable for me as I cannot progress.

I've tried changing my Directx from 11 to 9 (saw that somewhere) but it did nothing. Needless to say I never have issues playing any other game online, just this one.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hiya,

Please create a WinMTR log while experiencing the issue (here’s a guide).

I'm not 'Sarno' on Discord. I don't know who that is.
Hello and thanks for the reply.

I downloaded the program, but whenever I try to put the host adress for my country (Brazil) and start, it just gives me a message saying "Unable to get raw socket!" and I cannot do anything.

What should I do?

Run the program as administrator. Alternately, grab the free version of https://pingplotter.com/ and use it - same sort of data comes out, so it can be used to understand the issue the same way. (A screenshot including the graph is easier than the text-only output, but both work.)
Ok, running the program as admnistrator allowed me to use it. Here's the result, whatever it means: https://pastebin.com/rtkDrb2x

And this is what I get while running the program with PoE running as well (Gateway São Paulo BR): https://pastebin.com/DcTXzZq7

I have no idea what any of this means :(((

[EDIT]: did it a third time, this time while actually playing. Got a disconnect in less than 5 minutes, here's the result: https://pastebin.com/6W45r3ep

I'm wondering if you ended up with the wrong version of WinMTR or something, because that isn't giving any useful information. :(

If it isn't too much trouble could you grab PingPlotter from https://pingplotter.com/ -- the free version is just fine -- and run that against the same addresses? Just leave it running while you play PoE, and when you get a disconnect or two, screenshot the app and post that here.

That should help figure out what is going on, and avoids any further issues with WinMTR compatibility or whatever.

Sorry to ask you to go back and do the tests again.

That's odd. I downloaded it from the link given above. I'll try this PingPlotter next.

I also noticed that the game doesn't seem to disconnect if I just leave my character idle in town. I left him there for maybe 15 minutes, then started playing and disconnected in less than 5 minutes. I can't confirm this 100% but it does seem to be the case. Does that mean anything?

Nothing specific or conclusive. Not enough to ask a different question, that's for sure.
