I think you are vastly under appreciating and undervaluing how rare getting shaped/elder bases off of strongboxes of ascendance is. First of all, you need to roll to at least +4 chest level on a t15 (+5 chest level on t14) to have a shot at getting a base. I have rolled at least 500 boxes in t15 elders and only gotten 3 shitty elder bases. Not only is rolling each box tedious and time consuming, it is also costly in the long run to roll each box-about 50-80 alts per box usually. That means I'm spending one ex for every 20 or so boxes that I roll, not to mention the value of the time I'm wasting while rolling. If an ilvl 85/86 elder astral plate were to be found, it would probably be worth on the order of 300-400 ex considering that 0 exist in the game right now and crafting a mirror-tier one would give you a total monopoly on the market. There are only about 100 ilvl 85+ elder bases on the market at the moment, 98% of them are dogshit bases that still command a 20-25 ex pricetag. 60-80 ex seems like an absolute slap in the face for something that is quite literally rarer than a mirror.

There are dogshit bases for under an ex and ones online right now for 3ex in league, and some available for even 39c+, so I'm kind of confused by your claims.

I appreciate you trying. However, if you're growing frustrated by the task then take a break from it for sure.

The bounty has only been up for a little over 72 hours. Although I do hope to get it soon, I certainly didn't expect it.

No one will ever pay 400ex or even 200ex for such a base. That's like saying you could have 1-2 mirrors drop in the wild before seeing this base drop, which I don't believe to be the case. Uber elder fight is supposed to be a thing after league rolls over. Anyone concerned with being profitable (or whatever) would never put a huge bounty out for such an item when he can just wait a little while. Life chests rarely get mirrored in standard because of leg kaoms. I'm not doing this in order to have "a monopoly" on the market for a chest that might not even be mirrored ever. I'm doing it because I want to make it - simple as that. I'm impatient, I have the Essences I want to use on it, and all I need is the base.

I also wanted to have a bounty out in case someone just gets super lucky and drops it and doesn't know what it's worth. I'd rather pay them a respectable amount for it rather than a flipper nabbing it up, and then me buying it from the flipper.

haha yeah it does. It's currently all speculation, but there has been audio datamined and videos shows in the past by ggg themselves that aren't in the game yet.

The common theory is that there will be an "uber" elder fight where it's either elder+shaper or something like that.

The clips GGG showed in the past revealed elder taking hydra's and other guardians life of shaper and we haven't seen that yet either.

Chests definitely possible. I was fortunate enough to get permanent T15 Elder influence on Reef. I can just keep running Reef back to back with ambush mod and monstrous treasure/bountiful traps if I want to.
