Oni-Goroshi one time per account?

i started farming for Oni-Goroshi on two characters a few days ago. On the first day after leveling them to 7 i got uber-hillock on one character about 30 mins in doing 30 sec runs straight to him. Im now about an hour and 50 mins in on the other character trying to get him to spawn.
Can you only get one Oni-Goroshi per account?

You can definitely get multiple per account. RNG is just being its usual self.

a little edit on the first post, the times i listed were character /played times so the times added up from each of the 30 sec runs. i have most likely spent around 4 times that in real time actively farming it. it just felt like there was more to the drop rate because i have spent a lot longer than the average on the wiki.

The psychotic nose-bleeding brain-bruising soul-shriveling Onii-Chan grind is real. I imagine I'll do it myself sometime because that sword is hella cool and I want a proper one, but god damn that is not a fun thought...

is this true? I am getting conflicting information as I try to get some info on this. I really dont want to waste time trying to get a second one if it isnt possible.

I have multiple, so yes it's possible. Farmed three in Abyss SC and two in Abyss HC.

I should have clarified, is it possible to get more than one per character? or do I need to make 1 character per sword?

this is the only concrete info I have found from a decent source, and nothing from GGG themselves.

Why would they lower the droprate? It's already pretty time consuming just to get to level 7 in a level 1 area and many people need to hit 8 before finding it.
