It's so BORING to do storyline all over again
+1 please add power leveling to the game accessible to players which have completed a1-10
And disable it for races so people can't abuse the mechanics |

" Yes if you have done the story at least one time. Then all your new caract can go in any area. Last edited by Toxus#3207 on May 7, 2018, 11:03:59 AM

This is the most stupid thread ever, OP doesn't like to do the storyline over and over again for every character. He just likes to play maps over and over and over again forever.
The story part is the best thing in the game. IGN gubert Last edited by Gubert#1144 on May 7, 2018, 11:21:38 AM

Having played D3 story through a couple of times, and then playing Adventure mode forever thereafter......I am not entirely sure that is an improvement. It is horribly boring. It is literally the equivalent of mapping from level 1 and it is hideous.
On the other hand, I am not the biggest fan of the new 10 acts either. There are some terrible new zones in the 5+ areas: control blocks, city square, reliquary (ugh). Yeah, I hate acts 5 and 10. And making us do Dread Thicket? Bitch, please! I actually preferred the old school 4 x 3 with increasing difficulty. I don't have an elegant solution in mind. This is an ARPG after all, grindy as all get out, so you have to take the leveling process with the end game, that is just the nature of the game. Without a leveling process, how do you know how your build is constructed and plays? I get that we have played dozens of builds through to end game over the years........ Ultimately, this is what happens when a game lasts in popularity for years - difficult to keep things fresh. They tried with the new Acts at least. |

" I agree that the most enjoyable pace of the game is going through the acts and doing the quests for something other then loot. It is fairly easy to run through the game and remain a few levels ahead of the area. the constant change of scenery makes it fun an interesting. Sure there are some areas that are more tedious then others, and i get frustrated when i miss the small turn off resulting in back tracking, but overall the pacing is right. Doing an area over and over like maps from level 1 seems silly , and it wouldn't help you see character flaws early. running the areas helps you learn that most are just a square anyways. |

" Thank you. That sounds pretty good. Maybe something for this game one day. |

Totally agree with OP.
Not needing all the leveling uniques would free up my stash nicely. Keep the thread alive. |

So, new patch, new league and nothing has changed.
I bumb up my topic once again with the same question: why would anyone think that doing the same borying story quests (take that bring that) involves Fun? I think that doing obligatory storyline is rudimental thing in modern grind-based videogame. Not to mention that actually storyline in PoE is not exciting at all, you can do it one time, but doing same thing with every char (along with labirynth of course) is exceptionally bad idea. dead game bring back 3.13 Last edited by Tainted_Fate#2799 on Jun 1, 2018, 4:14:02 AM

" I can understand the issue, after thoudsand of hours in poe. But at the same time i dont think there is a solution to this i would like. I dont want a char handed to me at lvl 60, or anything like that. I usely play with a friend though. That makes it easier. Allso the thought of seeing the result of my theory crafting motivates me most times. |
