1,348,755,868 Storm Barrier stays active after channeling

I'm using Storm Barrier with Blade Flurry and sometimes when I am not channeling, Storm Barrier is still active. It's not just the buff icon - my character glows blue and when taking damage it shows the "barrier orb" animation. I've seen this happen 3 times in the past 2.5 hours

After I start and stop channeling again the buff disappears.

In case it matters I'm using Blade Flurry + Faster Attacks + Melee Physical Damage Support + Storm Barrier Support.
