Yes, it turns out if your [not published and only used by a single person] app is trying to access data, it'll be delayed, thus "playing favorites" by giving the advantage to the 99% that were already using the bigger sites.

Its not about popularity. It's about availability. Do you have a public website ? IF YES, you can whitelist it
