Dynamic Resolution does not trigger

GTX1060 6GB, Windows 10. I recently changed from W7 to W10 (fresh install, not the windows switch thing) and dynamic resolution doesnt work anymore. All my drivers are up to date, I even uninstalled my GPU drivers just now to see if the install was corrupted.

Havent found many solutions in my google search. The only two things i've found was disabling gaming settings and switching display mode, neither of which worked for me.

Anyone have a clue as to what could resolve this?

It works fine for me, on similar hardware, with W10. So, whatever it is, it isn't universal.

I'd try both switching it off, then on, and changing the FPS target, with a save/exit/start cycle between each, see if you can figure it out.

Uh, and probably test in somewhere like act 10 with expensive effects, so as to push your GPU hard. ;)
