Shouldn't there be a Developer Manifesto for Melee & Ranged?

Hi
I'm a big fan of Dual Wielding melee weapons, but in this game, the dual melee seems to be very inferior to Ranged classes.

1. The power of melee hitting heroes should be altered:
The brute force of their hits should hit the surrounding area (almost whole screen) for X %of total dmg.

And the area covered should be determined on total investment of Dex + Str.


2. The lack of skills that use both weapon at the same time (melee hits) are only two:
Dual Strike and Cleave.
And only cleave is AOE, but the aoe is meh...
There has to be more skill gems planned for dual wielding melee hitting heroes.

As the defense part is easy to grab for all classes; thus the natural choice (if you want an easier time) for everyone is to choose ranged class, to kill faster and avoid melee range as much as possible.
