Corrupting jewels

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the Imperfections achievement - corrupt a unique jewel into a different unique jewel. Does anyone know of any limitations to this? My idea is to use the ready supply of unique jewels from the Act II quest reward from the Golden Hand and corrupt them - is this doomed to never work, or has anyone successfully turned one of these quest reward jewels into something else? Does it have to be a found unique jewel?

I remember giving a reward jewel to a friend for that purpose, so most likely you've been unlucky. I'm not sure if there are ilvl restrictions, but I think you should still be able to get one.

Unique reward jewels can do for this aim like any other, just RNG.
