Frost Blades + Ruthless support = ?

Just to be sure, linking Ruthless support to Frost Blades will increase the damage just for the inital attack, or also the projectiles? I noticed everyone gets stun (on the third hit), but I'm still not sure about the damage part...

it says "more melee damage" so it is not supposed to work with projectiles

" In case it wasn't clear - Skills can have 2, or even 3, different damage delivery-sources available to them. Frost Blades has two: A Melee hit that deals Melee damage and not projectile damage, and Projectiles that are fired out that deal Projectile damage and not melee damage.
