Elemental hit can be used by Elementalists to trigger their "Mastermind of Discord" ascendency notable, so it has at least a small niche use compared to conversion trap. Agreed about chance to flee being hands down the worst support gem.

Try General Discussion on topic: chance to flee with no doubts. traditional winner of all similar contests:) @elemental hit - I can imagine it being decent with Ranged totems and piscators.. conversion trap - it used to be solid utility skill in the past, where game was 5 times slower and ordinary mobs used to be dangerous.
