WinMTR info too confusing for me.

I am new to the game and computer networking in general. I seem to be having latency issues as my character stutters around so bad that even predictive mode is unplayable. Any help will be appreciated. The following are my results from WinMTR with wdc.login.pathofexile.com as my host address:

I have a i5-6600k clocked to 4.5GHz, 16GB DDR4-3200, 980 Ti, and game is on same SSD that windows 10 is on. I've tried redownloading the game and updating drivers for what it's worth.

It looks like you're using the outdated version of WinMTR. Version 0.92 is the current version, you'll need to use the new one to get any usable results.

Thanks for the WinMTR log!

I’m not really seeing any problems on it, to be honest. Did you create it while playing and having latency issues? Sometimes latency problems can be intermittent in nature, and if the log isn’t made while the issue is occurring, we won’t learn anything from it.

Any help is much appreciated since I'd love to start playing before the ladder reset. With the current problem I am unable to even see what is attacking me. I have tried various graphics settings and have not found a solution in there.

I'm sorry, but I'm still not seeing any issues in the log.

The best thing might be to e-mail techsupport@grindinggear.com. They should be able to get a WinMTR from the server to you, which would show any issues affecting the route taken by traffic flowing in the other direction. Keep an eye on the thread, though - they do sometimes post here, so there's a chance you'll get a reply here before you receive a response to your e-mail. Sorry for not being able to help!

When I click F1 to display latency and FPS both appear to be fine. If this helps anyone solve my problem.

Stuttering can be cause by latency in lock step (which it dose not look like you have)

OR, by asset loading on the fly, older HDD's may not be up to the task (like 10 year old full of junk files and heavily fragmented etc) or something else could be utilizing either the ram or the HDD (scans, auto updates, downloads multiple browser tabs, streaming)

I've tested in both Lockstep and Predictive, and both feel unplayable. I've tried installing on two different hard drives and both experience the same stuttering. I play other games on these hard drives as well. Both were purchased within the last 3 years and seem to be working properly.
