Are Torchlight series games any good?

Well you can play both single player, and not get disconnects and rubber-banding randomly. A big plus for me! I can't play POE five full minutes without either of those happening. I'd glady pay for an offline version. Even dlc for the athestics packs or whatever.

*fingers crossed a POE 2 has a built-in offline mode like virtually every game that inspired it does*

Also, the pets in Torchlight 2 are crazy useful. I remember having mine set to heal me, and they can also sell junk items for you. Would be nice if pets in POE 2 have uses as well.
