Party text disappears after leaving party 848,411,861

I find this really annoying, because you cant look back who you talked to, or what has been discussed. Sometimes you want to still say something and if you have not whispered or know the exact name, you can not contact them anymore.

Noticed this also... bug or intended? Anyone have an answer?

This has been the behaviour since they implemented chat toggle buttons in patch 2.4.2 nearly a year ago (November 2016).

To my knowledge, GGG has never commented on the many posts complaining about it (though I have not read all of the more recent ones).

You currently need to create or join a new party in order to see your past party chat. It works, but it would make a lot more sense for the player to always be able to toggle party chat (or to not disable it automatically in the first place).

Thanks for explaining, i didn't know that, and neither did my friends. I hope they change it back. At least now i know i can see it again by joining/making another party.
