Full Shaper Run

This build uses Flame Surge's built-in 50% more Multiplier and fast cast speed to achieve high damage with spells by stacking as many "More"-Multipliers as we can. These are:
Flame Surge's 50% more damage against burning enemies
Berserker's 40% more damage
Various Support gems
Arcane Surge
Righteous Fire
Belt of the Deceiver
along with a very high critical strike multiplier (550%+)

Penetration is provided by the 10% boots enchant, Fire Pen. gem and Wise Oak.

For clearing, a weapon swap to a Sire of Shards socketed with a Magma Orb setup is used.

Since we do not depend heavily on damage auras, we can easily fit in Purity of Fire and Righteous Fire for the insane damage boost.

Berserker is a must for this build - the reliable 100% leech is very important in keeping you alive.

Brine King - it's important not to get stunlocked, especially as a Vaal Pact Berserker

Always Yugul to help with reflect

Weapon


A Pledge of Hands offers the highest DPS. The increased mana is also very good to sustain your mana while leeching.

Weapon Swap


In the Weapon Swap, use a Sire of Shards with Magama Orb to use when clearing maps.

Helmet

Enchant:
60% increased Flame Surge Damage against burning enemies

Understandably, this enchant is hard to find on a good base.




Starkonja's offers some critical strike chance, as well as up to 100 life.
You can also run a rare helmet, but you will have to make up for the Dexterity somewhere else.

Body Armour


A Carcass Jack is heavily recommended for damage and some more AOE.

Gloves


Fingerless Silk Gloves for spell damage. Get as much life as you can.

Boots


VERY IMPORTANT: Enchanted with 10% pen if you haven't killed recently.
A pair of rare boots works best here.
For more damage, use Mutewind Whispersteps.

Belt


Belt of the Deceiver offers 10% more damage through the intimidation aura.
Alternatively, use a leather belt with as much life and resists as you can get.

Rings


Opal Rings crafted with Essences of Anger for more fire damage. Also get life.

Amulet


As much critical strike multiplier as you can get. Life and resists. Spell damage would be beneficial, but is a luxury.

"of Dousing" makes it turn RF off and also heals you back up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED



Damage



Damage. Make sure Fire is your highest resistance.



Speed and Damage. Of Heat is essential to not die to Freezes.



Greatly increased Critical Strike chance. Of Staunching is important.

Rare Jewels:


Get at least two sources of critical strike multiplier and another damage mod. Anything else gets very expensive, especially life rolls.

Pledge of Hands


While Controlled Destruction offers more DPS, I prefer Crit. Strikes for the increased consistency.
A Level 30 Spell Echo is built into Pledge.

Sire of Shards (Weapon Swap)


Used for clearing out trash. Check the video on the full Shaper run.

Body Armour



This is a pure utility setup. Firestorm is used to ignite and build Power Charges. It also triggers Arcane Surge Level 9 in one cast, giving us another more-multiplier. Also gives cast speed.

Any 4-link


Anger as our main damage Aura. Purity of Fire helps take less damage from RF.
Only turn RF on for bosses when you need the damage boost.

A fast LW setup.

Any 4-link


Survivability. Any hit from the Bladefall/BV will leech you back up to full life, as long as your Cloaked in Savagery has triggered recently.
Added bonus: with Anger, both of these can ignite on crit.

Thoughts on the configuration:

The configuration is set up for a near-flawlessly started Shaper Phase. The Enemy is burning (very important), you have Power Charges and all flasks are up, as well as Vaal Haste and RF.

Numbers
The aforementioned configuration puts us at 3,2 Million DPS.

Once VH drops and you turn off RF, the damage output goes down to about 2 Million DPS.

You can level as any Berserker Spell build, and then respec accordingly.

I personally recommend Dark Pact.
