Any Windows experts? BSOD

I suspect that vista is a big part of the problem. It is ten years old now and unsupported. Move to windows 7.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This problem might also be caused because of overheating (thermal issue).
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: iuregprocessfilter.sys (IURegProcessFilter, IObit.com).

It's been ages (since PoE was in closed beta) since I've used Vista, but there are some tools that might help track down the problem.

To start with, it looks as though the kernel trap error could be caused by many different things: http://www.carrona.org/bsodindx.html#0x0000007F

You *might* be able to spot a cause using the event viewer or an MMC (microsoft management console) snap in.

http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/vista/vista_event_viewer.htm

http://www.techrepublic.com/article/a-look-at-windows-vistas-microsoft-management-console/

The logs are tedious to look through, and I would suggest filtering for more severe events (red flagged) first, then yellow flags. Most errors won't really mean much or be germane to your problem, but sometimes right after a crash, you can spot the problem by looking through recent events.

I know that doesn't solve your problems, but hopefully it will get you a step closer to a solution.

Have you tested your RAM modules ?
Hf :)
I got nothing valuable to add other than:
company: IObit.com

iobit is HORRIBLE. absolutely horrible. so much bloat, so much background stuff installed.

I used to use iobit uninstaller 2.2-2.4 (2010ish?), then they did a big upgrade, was all excited. DEAR GOD NO WHY.
SO MANY THINGS added to my system. an Uninstaller shouldn't be near impossible to remove (it shouldn't even be installed). Services that check if other services exist, if not, add those services, same for context menus, etc. endless cycle of things enabling/re-installing/updating things. it turned from a good product/company to a bloated malware/crapware/bloatware/IWillMakeYouHateMeWare.

remove all iobit bloat. I bet your pc will run a bit smoother and less bsody

luckily I still have those old versions still :) but I don't use them. started to use https://www.revouninstaller.com/ instead. the free version is perfectly fine.
it has the "clean up leftovers" features and whatnot.
rawr. fear me.

That's what it turned out to be! I deleted IObit Uninstaller and now everything works fine. The two week nightmare is over, phew! I hope the newer versions of Windows have less problems and it's easier to solve them once I get a new PC.

Thanks to everyone who read and responded, one of the programs listed here was able to pinpoint the problematic program, leading to the solution. Knew you guys could help

Hahahaha, what a solution lol.

Was funny watching this thread.
