No Friend Invite Yet?

I've gotten into the Beta a couple months after they started giving keys out and I recently heard about something about friend invites. Upon searching the forums and whatnot, I see that the Dev's decided to give active members the ability to invite one friend into the beta.

Now for however long it's been since I've gotten an invite, I've still haven't received a friend invite. I'd like to help out some of the people here who still have not gotten into the beta.

So I guess what I'm asking is, how do they send you the key? A PM? Email? And does not everyone get a friend invite thing, or is it just a select few/random?
