Did I waste my divine font?

Hey there guys, thanks in advance.

I am wondering about divine font usage and haven't found an answer that directly relates to my question.

The first time I ran it my gear was iffy at best, and at the end I applied the implicit to my gloves. I've since stopped using those gloves as I have better ones.

Now that I'm ready for my second run through i want to make sure I don't waste my font on something that I will be replacing. I'm assuming it's a one time use per difficultly per character. Should I be waiting until I have a really good unique or rare, one that I'll be keeping through the rest of my play through? Or does it really not matter so much? Id like to make proper use of the font/my rolls on the right gear instead of enchanting trash.

What would you guys recommend? Thanks

You assume wrong. You can use it every time you clear the lab.

You can use the divine font once every time you complete the labyrinth. You can get a disappointing enchant for that run of the labyrinth, but you can run the labyrinth and try again if you want to do so.

The only time using divine font is bad (other than enchanting obvious trash that you'll never use in the first place) is when you enchant some map-exclusive item types that have Implicits, most usually Gripped/Spiked/Fingerless Silk Gloves, and Two-Toned Boots. However, they have a warning dialogue about that now, so hopefully people won't be doing that anymore :P
