What's the point of mirrors in SSF?
Title. Aren't mirrors only used for trading?

Weeeeell, if you did find/craft a mirror-worthy item, you could have two of them!
But mostly it's used for converting SSF players into non-SSF players. I play SSF, but for sure if I ever found a mirror I'd sell it and buy some nice things that I could never find or craft. |

Rings and dual-wield weapons!

It's so you can take a look at yourself and ask yourself what you're doing with your life.

It allows a SSFer to know when they've finished the game.

It's for getting chromes since you can't trade for them:

They're there for people who want to dual wield their gg dagger/claw/sword/mace/axe/wand
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

I'd just keep it as a trophy, with it's fine ass sittin' in my currency tab.

They're a pretty good reason to switch to non-ssf.

If you drop a mirror, but want to keep playing ssf, you:
Create a mule ssf character. Give him the mirror. Transfer him to non-ssf and become rich! That's it. Now you can keep your hard earned SSF progress, and be a rich non-ssf player at the same time (if you ever want to bother with non-ssf). Alternatively, you can: Keep the mirror in SSF. For any reason whatsoever, link it in your forum posts (it will show that is in fact a SSF mirror). Great for forum PVP and boosting your massive virtual ego. |
