IE and Golems

I have a breach ring that adds "35% increased elemental damage with attack skills" and I was wondering would this apply to my minions that use elemental attacks (golems). I know that skill gems generally apply to minions when it comes to adding additional damage. I was just curious, because there's no way to actually test it in game, if it would apply both to me and my golems or just me.

Minions never benefit from your modifiers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
