Purpose of the Beta Manifesto Discussion Forum

The Beta Manifesto is the list of changes that we plan to make to the Path of Exile Beta in the near future to bring it closer to completion. Our intention is to document what we're planning to do so that we can get feedback before it's fully implemented.
With this update to the Beta Manifesto, we've moved it into this forum with one thread per topic. This should hopefully allow easier discussion of the topics. Threads have their last-updated date in the title. When we update a thread with our new intentions for that feature, we may clear the old feedback posts if they have been dealt with. We've intentionally made this forum available to the public, not just Beta members. This forum may be moderated heavily. We generally don't censor opinions, but are going to delete off-topic or irrelevant posts in this forum to keep the spam down. We may incorporate the answers to posts into the original topic and then delete the post. Please don't be offended if we delete your post that just says "I love this idea!" Instead of replying in each thread how awesome all this is... I'll do it here...
These ideas are outstanding and pretty much answered all questions I had about the current state of the game. It's nice to know the direction the game is headed. Much better than a certain "other" game that just released a new patch... |

You should properly update the front page and make thread in general discussion, about these beta manifesto changes.

Any plan for character customisation?

Instead of deleting posts, couldn't you just add a note at the top of them noting that information has been derived from them and added to the original post? Otherwise you may have interrupted discussions which end up making no sense since half of the relevant arguments have been deleted.

Many many great features to come, much appreciated. Besides mentioned ones, any plan for modifying gem leveling system, or item filter system for loots ?

Hey, how the hell do I get a beta key? Can someone tell me why would they advertise something that is free and expect you to have a beta key to download a game?

Because it is currently in closed beta. Closed means invite only. It will soon be in open beta. And when it goes to open beta, it will be free to play. NewDude: I killed Brutus. Now I have no quest. So what now?
