Connectivity Issues - Vodafone Italy

There is currently an issue affecting Vodafone users in Italy.

It is causing the following problems:
  • Failure to connect to the login server
  • Latency spikes
  • Freezes


We're currently investigating, but currently don't have an ETA on the fix due to this being outside of our direct control.

I contacted Vodafone support and I've scheduled a call from their IIT in about 11 hours, is there something in particular that I can tell them to help them identifying and fix the problem? (if it's not too late to receive an answer from you in time, I scheduled the call as soon as possible for my convenience, of course)

Literally unplayable
Vodafone user here from Italy, game is running in background and i'm totally unable to interact due to lag, but winmtr gives these results:




zero packet loss and acceptable latency

I've noticed something that may be interesting regarding these issues. When I boot the game after a while everything seems good until I open a portal from a map (either I need to get back to town or I just die), then everything starts to slow down, lag and freeze even if mere seconds before it was butter smooth.

In the last couple of days I was able to complete the master dailies without problem and even run several maps (if deathless).

EDIT: my MTR too shows nothing wrong.

I am in the Eastern part of the United states and also having connectivity problems. Each time I am in the process of moving through a map and all of a sudden the game will freeze and I am booted out. This has happened 5 times in the past 30 mins. It'seems REALLY becoming frustrating cause I can'take complete ANY task because of it.

Same here, i use a vodafone adsl.
When join the game everything is going well until i use a portal, after that the lag spike reach 1800 and over, the game become unplayable.
On Vodafone broadband on London server, getting unexpected disconnects constantly... winmtr not looking good
