Items disappeared from inventory

While mapping I had my 6l belly of the beast corrupted armor in my inventory, my game disconnected me and now my armor is missing. I really just want to know what happened to it. and why did it have to be one my most expensive items? This is what I get for trying to test out new stuff.

Where was the item before it was in your inventory? In your stash? In a crafting bench?

i was organizing my stash and while moving a null's inclination my game crashed and now the bow is missing
