I lag when playing with ym friend but no one else.

I lag when playing with ym friend but no one else. I really like this game but i can't play it together with my friend. What can possibly be wrong. And i am positive it is that leiden_94@hotmail.com that makes me lag. I have played for hours lag free and as soons as we team up i get dcs and lags. Please help me.
