[3.0] Ice Crash Facebreaker
Goal:
build effective, cheap (<1 ex to start), non-crit, DPS build; also have potential for the highest DPS non-crit build Inspired by: [3.0] The Warchief - [Berserker] Ancestral Warchief - over 2m dps - Uber Farmer (Videos) Shaper Down by guggelhupf [2.6] STUN IT ALL | *Detailed Video - Shaper and Guardians guide* | Stun up to T17 by ChrispieD Mechanics: Drop orb of storms with curse for EE(-50% cold and fire res) and ELEMENTAL OVERLOAD(40% MORE damage) PROC; Not only it massively boosts Ice crash damage, on top of that it makes "Taste of Hate", "Hatred" and "Herald of ash" stronger compared to physical damage builds Ice crash(50% phys to cold) + "Winter spirit" passive(40% phys to cold) = 90% phys to cold Hatred(36% extra cold) + Uber lab Ice crash ench(15% extra cold) + Taste of Hate(20% extra cold) => 161% cold damage from facebreakers (+15% fire damage from herald) Cold resistance reduction: EE(-50%) + Cold pen(-37%) + curse(-39% less against bosses) + tree(-19%) + Wise oak(-15%) = -160% against normal mobs and -129% against Shaper Gear:

Ice Crash (arranged from most useful to least): Melee phys->Weapon elemental->Conc effect/Inc area->Cold Pen->Ruthless->(Faster Attacks*)->(Ele focus)->(Added fire)->(Melee damage on full life)
* Faster attacks isn't that good here, because we want to hit Ice crash in between Orb of storm procs for EE Orb of Storms: Curse on hit, Frostbite, Crit chance (for ELEMENTAL OVERLOAD), OR Ele Weakness if you have +1 curse corruption Shield Charge: faster attacks, fortify Ancestral warchief Hatred, Herald of Ash CWDT + IC + Inc duration + Tempest Shield Whatever Golem I guess you can fit Frost Bomb for extra -20% cold pen Variations: Berserker Passive Tree Alternative Tree Pro & contra: + insane VAAL PACT leech, no need to take duelist leech nodes + 40% MORE damage + +50 potential increased attack speed - suicide against reflect - 10% increased damage taken, no real defensive mechanics - lowest resistance reduction among 3 choices (-160% cold resistance reduction) Pathfinder Passive Tree Pro & contra: + -10% ele penetration +10% damage from random element + 38% flask duration, 46% flask effect + 20% extra chance to freeze, alignment immunity + more defensive due buffed flasks 0 semi-effective against reflect (Nature's boon 8% reduced ele damage taken, buffed Taste of hate) - needs duelist leech, leech isn't high - reliance on flasks Ascendant(Elementalist, Raider): Passive Tree Pro & contra: + -6% ele pen, ele conflux for 6 seconds after killing rare, extra golem + frenzy charges generation (20% MORE damage), free onslaught + few extra passives for "Damage while holding shield" and "Chance to block" + safe against reflect (85% reflect reduction baseline, while only 35% for other classes) - No Vaal Pact(no point really), needs duelist leech How to permastun shaper (works in theory):

Hi i'm following this build for berserker. can you look at my character(OxEsDeathxO) skill tree and advise which nodes i should take first?

Looks good, you will need lycosidae for late game, totally worth for "Elemental Overload" compared to "Resolute Technique" + Old one's shield. Also, ruthless, faster attacks(without EE) or ele focus supports are a bit better, because "added fire" won't boost your hatred + herald of ash damage. Also "added fire"doesn't benefit from cold pen and such => not optimal. "Herald or ash" is mainly for boosting AoE through overkill.
I'm a fan for getting "cloaked in savagery" first with Vaal Pact, gives you the ability to facetank everything, 40% MORE damage isn't even needed till late red maps. For pantheon Gruthkul to counter abyssus, Lunaris for mapping, Solaris for bosses. BTW, I'm not sure about EE anymore, you can hit ice crash in between orb of storms procs, which will nets you ~50% MORE damage(the more resistant opponent, the better), BUT you can't use warchief(18% more melee damage). Also, consider alternative tree for zerker (its a bit more efficient), I would adivise to spec into it late game, but for now having "Winter Spirit" is more important. any passive with 'damage with weapons penetrade x% resistance' wont work since you use facebreakers (i've tried it onmy own build)
