Should town portal disappear after a rather short time?

Hi,

I popped a town portal and went through it. Back in town I was standing around the town portal that I created expecting to go back through it, however within what seems like just a few minutes the town portal disappeared.

Figured it would stay until I used it or until I logged out of that character.

If it's a bug, great, theres my simplistic report, if it's a feature then disregard.

I think it works like this: An instanced area is viable for 15mins, thus if a portal to an instance that closes is open, that portal will disappear.
