Only fighting vs elemental damage. Because Golems are immune to it. Everything beside elemental damage kills golems really quick.

You clearly are misinformed about this build which is a shame. Let me enlighten you.

In 3.0 you won't be making CI build, which makes discipline redundant which will leave you 30% mana free so you can summon golems at will, a drawback in 2.6 and before was that you had to have at least 320 mana unreserved to re-summon golems which are downed only by the following things:

- HoGM heavy DOTs
- minotaur if you have no idea what you are doing.
- vaal temple and uber atziri trio
- one in a milion map combo of double damage mod and vulnerability (maybe)

All this can easily be remedied by replacing minion damage with minion life and as I said you can resummon them all day long in 3.0 as you are life or hybrid. Of course, gems must be lvl 20 at least or you can go cry somewhere else.
