RF discussion

I've seen a few builds which stated something like
"Ngamahu, Flame's Advance
Gives us more damage against burning enemies, which is everything is RF's radius."

Where "Ngamahu, Flame's Advance" chieftains ascendancy passive with "35% increased damage with hits and ailments against burning enemies" mod

But, according to wiki:
" Conditional Modifiers: Damage Over Time does not interact with modifiers that rely on the status of an enemy.[1] Two notable examples of this are Singularity's "hindered enemies" [2]and the Chieftain node Ngamahu Flame's Advance "burning enemies".[3]"

Sooo... is it useless for RF?

And the seconds question being: i've asked before and every time the answere was "#% incresed spell damage does not affect RF `cos RF is not a spell" when wiki clearly states that RF is a spell.

Certain parts of the wiki are outdated because of the massive changes to damage over time/ailments. This is one of those. That said, RF burning damage is not an ailment, neither does it hit and as such will not benefit from the Ngamahu node.

Yes, RF is a spell.
No, RF does not deal spell damage.

Just to elaborate on this a little bit:
There are four Damage sources: Attack, Spell, Damage over Time and secondary Damage. These four are mutually exclusive: Damage over Time is never Attack or Spell Damage.
Special modifiers can apply multipliers from one source to another, but these will always be explicitly stated.

So, because Righteous Fire deals Damage over Time, it does not deal Spell Damage. It doesn't have a "Spell Damage to DoT" modifier either.
