Stupid question about gems :S

Hi.

I was thinking about trying Milky's RF totem build.
And my question is:
- Does It matter what order i put my gems in.

Gems for chest: Spell totem + Righteous fire + Burning damage + Increased AOE + Elemental focus + Swift affliction

Gems for weapon: Stone Golem/Decoy totem + Enduring cry + Lightning/Ice Trap


I'm kinda new to the game, so It's a bit confusing :P

Gem order only matters in very niche cases involving triggering skills (e.g. via Cast when Damage Taken). Support gem order never matters, and skill gem order doesn't matter if you don't have a situation where you're triggering multiple gems and care about the order they go off in.

Gem order doesn't matter in general, I think it only matters with trigger skills sometimes. And then the order goes from top left to top right, then one down, left, down and right again. Basically a Z or inverted S figure on a 6L. With less sockets it only does part of that figure.
