Maramoa deep in the cups?

Pardon me if I missed that tidbit somewhere, but is Maramoa having drinking issues? We know that a lie is a death sentence in Ngamakasomewhere, but I have no idea what are the rules when it comes to drinking so I guess it's a possibility.

The thing is, she sounds a bit drunk to me, and not the kind of party drinking where you lay yourself under the table at short notice and then keep it more or less dry until the next event. She isn't 'off-her-feet-no-idea-what-she's-saying' drunk, more like someone that isn't drinking as much as not getting fully sober in recent memory, weird pauses in her speech, dragging out words she didn't have problems with back in act3, lack of motivation and self confidence, she's got the signs.

So, is this an oversight of some sort or you just can't outright say she's drinking because of local laws if they're anything like in Australia?
