Interesting read. This is why forums without vote manipulation are better. Plot twist, is this article another act of social engineering? anything is everything Last edited by Manocean on Jul 10, 2017, 11:40:05 PM Last bumped on Jul 11, 2017, 6:02:49 PM

I like their tactics: We get our minions to spam news reporters because if enough people spam them they are slaves to it and have to bring it up! Imagine if hundreds of people are emailing you as a news reporter - what choice do you have to mention it? only the very few sharpest can think solely for themselves and still survive - which is why the majority cannot do like that.
But while forums with upvotes can be manipulated, forums like these have a limit to how much usage they can take because if enough posts are rolling the frontpage will be decked out. Still crazy... it mirrors what happens in the media - it doesn't matter so much the quality of one idea as much as being able to push that idea into the consciousness of as many as possible. Sadly, i fear it cannot be avoided because that's our biological nature. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.
